At Innersense, we believe in giving people the space and freedom to reflect their own authenticity and individual beauty out into the world. As a brand that champions self-expression, we love to celebrate the unique value of each person on our team and foster an inclusive work environment. One of our team members, Morgan Starkman, holds a key role at Innersense as the Director of Joy. Morgan was diagnosed with Williams syndrome, a rare genetic condition, at 22 months old.
As the Director of Joy, Morgan brings the internal team together during meetings, connects with salon partners and Pro Stylists, establishes exciting dialogue with customers and posts uplifting content to social— ensuring our brand values of individuality and authenticity are reflected in all that we do.
We are so excited that Morgan will be sharing this joy with a bigger audience as the Master of Ceremonies at the Williams Syndrome Association National Convention this week in Phoenix, Arizona. We are proud supporters of the Williams Syndrome Association and the work they do to provide research, programming and support for families and caregivers affected by Williams syndrome. We can’t wait to cheer for Morgan while she’s on stage, and we’ll be sharing updates from the convention all week long.
You can show your support by shopping the Morgan’s Faves Set on our site. It’s a four-step set for bouncy, hydrated, healthy curls, curated by Morgan. This week, 50% of each purchase of this set goes to the Williams Syndrome Association.
